OL Reign Acquire Defender Phoebe McClernon in Trade with Orlando Pride

OL Reign have acquired defender Phoebe McClernon from the Orlando Pride. In exchange, OL Reign has traded its 10th round pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft, its natural 2nd round pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft, forward Leah Pruitt and defender Celia.

McClernon played 360 minutes in the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup for Orlando Pride and continued to feature heavily in Orlando’s defense. She played in 21 games during the season for a total of 1,416 minutes. She earned one assist during the season.

Celia made her first appearance for the club in 2020 and played in four 2020 Challenge Cup games. In 2021, the defender played in all four Challenge Cup games for the Reign and scored one goal for the team in OL Reign’s 2-1 win over Kansas City. During the 2021 season, she played in 12 games and earned one assist.

Pruitt played in four matches for the Reign during the 2020 Fall Series and scored one goal for the team. In 2021, the forward played in all four Challenge Cup matches scored one goal in the Reign’s 3-1 win over Chicago. During the 2021 season, she played in 11 matches for a total of 342 minutes.
