Eight OL Reign Players to Play in SheBelieves Cup and Pinatar Cup

Eight OL Reign players are set to play with their national teams in the SheBelieves Cup and Pinatar Cup. Defender Alana Cook, Sofia Huerta and Emily Sonnett are set to join the U.S. Women’s National Team, as well midfielder Rose Lavelle and forward Megan Rapinoe. Midfielder Quinn and forward Jordyn Huitema are set to join the Canadian National Team, who are also competing in the SheBelieves Cup.

Midfielder Jess Fishlock is joining the Wales Women’s National Team to compete in the Pinatar Cup.

The SheBelieves Cup will take place across venues in Orlando, Nashville and Frisco. The four teams competing – Brazil, Canada, Japan and the United States – are all teams participating in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer. In addition, all four nations are ranked in the top 11 in the world with the USA at No. 1, Canada at No. 6, Brazil at No. 9 and Japan at No. 11.

Fans in the Seattle-area can watch the match at Rough & Tumble Pub in Ballard or tune in using HBO Max.

Wales will compete in the Pinatar Cup for the second consecutive year. The team is set to take on the Philippines, Iceland and Scotland at the Pinatar Arena in Spain. Entry for the matches is ticketless and free of charge and fans can tune in on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
