By the Numbers: Reign FC Beats San Diego Wave FC on the Road
Seattle Reign FC picked up a road win against San Diego Wave FC in its first of three consecutive road matches. The victory featured goals from rookie midfielder Sally Menti and forward Emeri Adames. After earning three points, the Reign are now in fifth place in the NWS standings.

1 – In her first-ever start and second career game, midfielder Sally Menti, a native of Seattle, scored the opening goal of the match in the 67th minute – her first career goal.
3 – Forward Emeri Adames scored the Reign’s game-winning goal in the 87th minute. The goal marks her third career goal, all of which have been scored after the 70th minute.
7 – Captain and defender Lauren Barnes tallied her first assist since 2023 on Menti’s goal. This is the seventh assist of her NWSL career.
9 – With the win, Reign FC holds an 9-1-2 all-time record against San Diego Wave FC across all NWSL competitions. Of the nine wins, five have been earned at home and four have been picked up on the road.
11 – The Reign have scored in 9 of their 11 games so far this season. The team has scored 11 goals and has nine different goalscorers. Only Adames and forward Maddie Dahlien have scored more than one goal this season.
29 – Midfielder Jess Fishlock connected with Adames for the game-winning goal, notching her first assist of the season and 29th of her NWSL career – the most in club history and fifth-most all-time in league history.
111 – Goalkeeper Claudia Dickey finished the match with three saves, moving up to the third-most saves in club history with 111, passing Phallon Tullis-Joyce (110). For her save in the 77th minute of the match, Dickey earned NWSL Save of the Week.
250 – Laura Harvey became the first head coach in NWSL history to reach 250 regular-season games. No other NWSL head coach has ever surpassed 200 games.
