Key Info Ahead of the Match:

1. LAST MEETING – Seattle and Orlando last met in April at Lumen Field in the 19th all-time meeting between the two teams. The Reign fell 1-0, despite controlling traffic during the second half of the match. The result was determined by Barbra Banda’s 41st minute strike inside the box on a cross from Summer Yates.

In all NWSL competitions, Seattle and Orlando have met 19 times. The Reign have earned seven wins, five losses and seven draws, netting 30 total goals. Defender Lauren Barnes has made the most appearances in the series, missing just one of 19 matches, while midfielder Jess Fishlock and forward Jordyn Huitema are tied for the most goals scored by a player on Reign FC’s active roster in the head-to-head series with three.

2. SCOUTING ORLANDO – The Pride are unbeaten in four matches, recording three wins and one draw off the back of a nine-match winless run. Most recently, Orlando took on the No. 2 ranked Washington Spirit and won 3-2. Initially, Washington took the lead, benefitting from an Orlando own goal, but minutes later, Kerry Abello pulled the Pride level with a strike from outside the box.

Orlando found themselves trailing once again as the Spirit added a second goal in the 42nd minute of the match. After halftime, Marta subbed onto the pitch for Orlando and immediately changed the momentum, forcing a Washington own goal to keep her team in match. Level at two goals apiece, the intense fixture was determined by a penalty kick, as Ally Watt was fouled in the 18-yard box. Marta stepped up to the spot to take the kick and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to earn a crucial three points for Orlando.

3. DECISION DAY DRAMA – The Reign have already cemented their place in the 2025 NWSL Playoffs, but the regular-season work isn’t finished yet. The team will look to pick up three points to secure a home match in the first round of the playoffs. • Seattle Win (Clinch 3 seed)

  • Seattle Draw + San Diego Draw/Loss + Portland Draw/Loss + Gotham FC Draw/Loss (Clinch 4 seed)

  • Seattle Loss + San Diego Loss + Portland Loss + Gotham FC Draw/Loss (Clinch 4 seed)

All under the age of 25, the group of four players has quietly led the team all season long.

For Orlando, Marta continues to be a difference maker, having a hand in two of the team’s three goals in their most recent match. She recorded four goals this season, in addition to one assist.
