Starting XI: Reign FC at Portland Thorns FC

Seattle Reign FC Head Coach Laura Harvey fields her second lineup of the 2026 NWSL season as the Reign take on their biggest rival, Portland Thorns FC, on the road at Providence Park. Tune in to the match at 7:00 p.m. PT on Prime Video to catch the 44th edition of the Cascadia Rivalry match!

Lineup Notes:

  • Harvey makes just one change to the lineup from Reign FC’s 2-1 win over Orlando – Maddie Mercado starts the match in place of Mia Fishel, who is unavailable for tonight’s match due to a leg injury.

  • Mercado makes her 7th regular-season start. She most recently started Reign FC’s Decision Day match against the Orlando Pride on November 2, 2025.

  • Jess Fishlock once again holds the captain’s armband in the match. This marks the midfielder’s 217th regular-season appearance, which ties McCall Zerboni for the second-most regular-season appearances in league history.

  • Madison Curry makes her 50th NWSL regular-season appearance. She has made 28 of her 50 appearances with the Reign since signing with the team ahead of the 2025 season.

  • Claudia Dickey makes her 42nd consecutive start for the Reign – the second-most in club history.

  • The average age of Reign FC’s lineup is 26.5 years old.

  • Five players on the bench would make their Reign FC debut if they see action in this afternoon’s match – Sofia Cedeño, Keeley Dockter, Ruby Hladek, Neeku Purcell and Holly Ward.

  • Dockter, a former Seattle Reign Academy player, signed with the club earlier today on a short-term contract.

  • For all five players, an appearance would also mark their NWSL debut.
