Today’s starting XI is a new combination of players this season. Since the start of the 2026 campaign, Laura Harvey has listed 21 unique starting lineups across all 26 matches.
Reign FC’s lineup features three changes from Saturday’s 2-1 loss against Denver Summit FC, with Jess Fishlock, Ainsley McCammon and Maddie Mercado replacing Angharad James-Turner, Sally Menti and Nerilia Mondesir.
Reign FC enters today’s match on a six-game home unbeaten streak dating back to July 12. During that span, Seattle has recorded five shutouts, including four consecutive clean sheets at Lumen Field: 1-0 vs. Chicago on August 14, 1-0 vs. Houston on August 30, 1-0 vs. San Diego on September 6 and 2-0 vs. Bay FC on September 12. The Reign have not conceded a goal at home in the last 378 minutes.
Seattle earned a 2-1 victory over Boston Legacy FC in the first-ever meeting between the two sides on May 22 at Centreville Bank Stadium. Seven players from Seattle’s starting XI that day are featured in today’s lineup, including both Reign FC goal scorers from the win, Maddie Dahlien and Sofia Huerta.
With today’s start, Maddie Dahlien is set to make her 50th NWSL regular season appearance. The second-year forward has recorded seven goals and seven assists since entering the league, including four goals and four assists during her rookie campaign in 2025, when she was named a finalist for NWSL Rookie of the Year.
Sofia Huerta has six goal contributions this season, bringing her career total to 76 regular season goal contributions (41 goals, 35 assists), which ranks ninth in NWSL history. Her next goal or assist would tie Megan Rapinoe for the eighth-most NWSL goal contributions all-time.
Phoebe McClernon is the only Reign FC player to start all 26 matches this season, while Maddie Mercado is the only other player on the team set to make her 26th appearance of the year (23 starts).
Sam Meza continues to rank among the league’s best in tackles and tackles won this season. The third-year midfielder currently ranks first in tackles (89) and tackles won (58).
