Seattle Reign FC Head Coach Laura Harvey fields a new starting lineup as the Reign take on Chicago Stars FC in the club’s annual Pride Match. The match kicks off at 7:00 p.m. PT and airs on NWSL+. Full watch details can be found here. 

Lineup Notes: 

  • After listing the same starting XI for the past three matches, Laura Harvey has named a new starting lineup, making two changes: Angharad James-Turner replaces an injured Sam Meza and Madison Curry replaces Ryanne Brown. Through the club’s first 18 matches of the season, Harvey has used 15 different starting lineups. 

  • Seattle is tied with three other NWSL clubs for the most individual goal scorers this season (11). Seven of Reign FC’s 11 goal scorers are featured in today’s starting lineup. 

  • Tonight’s captain, Sofia Huerta, spent her first four NWSL seasons with Chicago Stars FC from 2015-2018, totaling 13 goals and four assists across 55 regular season appearances. Cassie Miller, who’s on Seattle’s bench tonight, also started her career in Chicago in 2021, making 15 starts and helping the team reach the 2021 NWSL Championship. 

  • Phoebe McClernon is the only Reign FC player to start all 18 matches this season, while Maddie Mercado is the only other player on the team set to make her 18th appearance of the year (16 starts).
