Starting XI: Seattle Reign FC at Utah Royals FC

Seattle Reign FC Head Coach Laura Harvey fields her twelfth unique lineup of the season as Reign FC takes on Utah Royals FC at 2:00 p.m. PT at America First Field in Sandy, Utah. Tune in on Fox 13+, Paramount+ or NWSL+. Fans can also attend a watch party at one of three locations in the Seattle area!

This is the first meeting of the season between the two sides. In 2024, the teams went 1-1-1 in all head-to-head competitions, including the NWSL regular season and Summer Cup.

Lineup Notes:

  • There are three changes to the lineup from the Reign's last match – defender Shae Holmes and midfielders Sam Meza and Ji So-Yun start in the place of defender Lu Barnes, midfielder Ainsley McCammon and forward Nérilia Mondésir.

  • McCammon and Mondésir are available on the bench, but Barnes is not available for the match due to a leg injury.

  • Defender Jordyn Bugg and forward Lynn Biyendolo, who both recorded goals in the Reign’s 2-2 comeback draw with Chicago, are in the lineup. Forward Maddie Dahlien, who provided the assist on Bugg’s goal, is also in the lineup.

  • Goalkeeper Claudia Dickey, Bugg and defender Phoebe McClernon all earn their thirteenth consecutive start of the season.

  • McClernon continues her regular season appearance streak, reaching 13 starts this season and 48 consecutive matches played for the Reign. She holds the captain's armband for this match.
