USWNT Releases New Kits to Debut in Series Against Japan

Ahead of an action packed 2026, U.S. Soccer unveiled the new U.S. Soccer National Team home and away kits, which are set to be worn by all 27 U.S. Soccer National Teams. For the first time, the kit design unifies all U.S. Soccer National Teams under one full visual identity. From the senior national teams to youth ranks, everyone will be connected under one design ahead of the Men’s National Team competing on the biggest stage this summer, the 2026 Men’s FIFA World Cup, right here in our backyard.

The U.S. Men’s National Team will debut the kits later this month in Atlanta, while the U.S. Women’s National Team will debut their kits in their three-match series against Japan. The highly anticipated three three-match series will bring the United States Women’s National Team to Seattle for the first time since 2017, using Lumen Field as a backdrop for the rivalry game.

An important element of the new kits is the red, white and blue color scheme, as one may expect. However, the design takes the American Flag inspiration one step further, deepening the use of these colors in a unique way that allows fans to hold a deep sense of pride as they rep the kits, in turn inspiring the players on the field.

As the next wave of players dons the Stars & Stripes, fans won’t want to miss a second of the action. Reign FC alone has had five players make their United States Women’s National team debut in the last year and now, they are all vying for their chance to represent their country in front of a home crowd.

Japan, a fierce competitor, will come into the series fresh off the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup, which is being held in Australia this month as the final stage of Asian qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil.
