REIGN REFLECTIONS WITH MULTICARE
Shining a light on mental health, together.
As a not-for-profit health care organization, MultiCare is deeply committed to providing essential health and wellness services to the communities we serve. Our mission — partnering for healing and a healthy future — reflects a dedication that goes far beyond medicine. It drives us to collaborate with families, neighborhoods and like-minded organizations that are working to create a healthier, stronger region for everyone.
That’s why MultiCare Behavioral Health has teamed up with Reign FC to Shine a Light on Mental Health, a powerful initiative aimed at breaking the stigma around mental health and encouraging open, honest conversations.
Through our three-part video series, we’re opening the door to dialogue and understanding, with the goal of empowering people to:
Recognize and validate their emotions
Understand they are not alone in their struggles
Feel supported in seeking help when they need it
Together, we can change the narrative around mental health and foster healing in our communities.
Join the conversation by using #ReignReflections on social media and help us illuminate a path toward hope, awareness and recovery.
Watch all three videos below:
In the first of our three-part video series, Reign players Bethany Balcer, Alana Cook, and Sam Hiatt open up about their own mental health challenges as high-performing athletes and Dr. Jeffrey Eisen, MultiCare Behavioral Health’s chief medical officer, shares his insights on this important health topic.
In the third and final installment of the series, Reign Reflections, Reign defender Sam Hiatt and forward Bethany Balcer are back to discuss the future of mental health and how they’ve been helped by the league’s first sport psychologist. Jeff Eisen, MD, chief medical officer for MultiCare Behavioral Health Network also speaks to the importance of open dialogue to expanding access to behavioral health care, treatment and support.
