Adames, Bugg and McCammon Named Among Top Teenage Talent in ESPN U19 Ranking

Though Seattle Reign FC is often praised for its group of long-time veteran leaders, the club has brought in a talented group of young players over the last couple of seasons that have made a noticeable impact in the squad.

Three of those young players – Ainsley McCammon, Emeri Adames and Jordyn Bugg, were recently named to ESPN’s U19 NWSL rankings, and for good reason.

McCammon, coming in at No.16 across the league's teenage pool, has recently made waves with scoring her first-ever professional goal to help the Reign secure three points against Utah and clinch a spot in the NWSL Playoffs.

Though she finally made it onto the scoresheet, McCammon has been steadily making her mark with Seattle. The young midfielder, who originally signed with the club as a 16-year-old in July 2024, has made 15 appearances this season, racking up 532 minutes of playing time. She’s earned six starts, including the Reign’s two most recent matches.

Adames, a second year forward, ranks No.7 on the list. She is tied with veteran midfielder Jess Fishlock as Reign FC’s leading scorer this season, netting six goals. She has made 20 appearances this season, missing just five matches.

Currently, Adames leads all teenager in the league in goals scored and is just one away from breaking the league record for goals scored in a single season as a teenager. Praised for her ability to change the course of a game with a combination of speed and skill, the future is extremely bright for Adames.

Bugg, who has become a stalwart in the Reign’s starting lineup, is ranked No. 3 on the list. She has appeared in 24 of 25 total games this season, playing over 2,000 minutes for Seattle. Strong and smart defensively, she has registered 34 interceptions and 23 tackles, helping the Reign to concede post the fourth-best defensive record in the league with just 28 goals conceded.

In addition to her defensive abilities, Bugg has notched two goals this season. She opened her account with a stunning game-winner against North Carolina and also salvaged a point on the road against Chicago with an 89th minute equalizer.
