Bugg, Dahlien and Dickey Named to USWNT SheBelieves Cup Roster

As announced today, defender Jordyn Bugg, forward Maddie Dahlien and goalkeeper Claudia Dickey have been named the United States Women’s National Team roster for the annual SheBelieves Cup by Head Coach Emma Hayes. The Reign trio make up three of the 19 NWSL players featured on the expanded 26-player roster – the second most of any NWSL team.

During the 11th edition of the SheBelieves Cup, the U.S. is set to take on Argentina, Canada and Colombia. Bugg, Dahlien and Dickey, alongside the other 23 players called up, look to help the United States claim the SheBelieves cup title for the eighth time after their five-year win streak was snapped by Japan in 2025.

The SheBelieves Cup marks the final competition for the United States Women’s National Team before the squad is set to take on Japan three times in a friendly series this April, including a match in Seattle

20 players on the roster previously played in a FIFA Youth Women’s World Cup for the USA prior to making their senior National Team debuts, emphasizing the importance of focusing on the development of youth players – an attribute Reign FC shares.

These call-ups are a testament to the culture that continues to cultivate and develop talent, preparing players to be an integral part of Reign FC’s new era. All three players most recently represented the USWNT in January camp, where Dahlien notably made her USWNT debut, while Bugg and Dickey brought their cap tallies up to six and seven, respectively.

Bugg, steadfast in the backline, has consistently been named to USWNT rosters since she made her debut with the squad in summer 2025. Known for her maturity on the pitch and composure beyond her years, the 19-year-old is one of two teenagers named to the SheBelieves Cup roster.

She continues to showcase her skill and soccer IQ for club and country. The 2025 season saw the defender appear in all but one regular-season match for the Reign. She was named a finalist for NWSL Defender of the Year and was also nominated for U.S. Soccer’s Young Female Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Bugg has cemented her place in Seattle since arriving in 2024 and shows no signs of slowing down.

Another breakout talent for Seattle, Dahlien, has earned her second USWNT call-up. Headed into her second season with the Reign, the speedy attacker displayed her dizzying speed and fancy footwork in her caps against Paraguay and Chile, as the Stars and Stripes netted a combined 11 goals to earn back-to-back victories.

A finalist for 2025 NWSL Rookie of the Year, Dahlien appeared in all 26 regular-season matches for the Reign during her first year as a professional. Versatile and hungry, she scored four goals and added four assists during the NWSL season.

Rounding out Seattle selections, Dickey, who earned her first call-up to the USWNT in January 2025, is the most capped goalkeeper on the SheBelieves Cup roster. She has earned seven total caps for the squad, recording six clean sheets.

The fifth-year goalkeeper has proved herself to be a consistent performer, dedicated to being the best at her craft. She appeared in every regular-season match for the Reign and finished the year with a league-leading 88 saves.

All three players are entering unfamiliar territory as they are set to compete in the SheBelieves Cup for the very first time. As the 2026 NWSL season quickly approaches, this will be a good test for the players and an even better opportunity to continue to up their game and push Reign FC forward.
