By the Numbers: Seattle Reign FC’s 2025 Season

Seattle had two players named to the NWSL Best XI Second Team, Presented by Amazon Prime – Jordyn Bugg and Claudia Dickey. Both players were finalists for the league’s end of season awards, in the Defender of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year categories, respectively.

The Reign signed three teenage players in 2024 and all three went on to make an impact during the 2025 season. The trio of Emeri Adames, Jordyn Bugg and Ainsley McCammon scored a combined 10 goals – nearly one third of the club’s total goals scored in 2025. Adames became the youngest Reign player to record a brace and McCammon became the second-youngest Reign player to tally a goal for the club.

Forward Maddie Dahlien added four goals during her rookie campaign in 2025. Each one of her goals was each one of her goals was a game-winner, making her the first player to open her career with four consecutive game-winning goals.

Forward Emeri Adames scored six goals this season, tied for the most on the team with veteran midfielder Jess Fishlock. The 19-year-old's six goals were tied for the most goals scored by a teenager in a single NWSL season.

Seattle welcomed a total of 10 new players in the 2025 season. Six of those players appeared in at least 10 matches throughout the season. Two of the players appeared in all 26 matches of the regular-season – Madison Curry and Maddie Dahlien. Both players also appeared in the Reign’s 2025 quarterfinal match against Orlando.

Veteran midfielder Jess Fishlock set a new Reign FC record for goal contributions. Her six goals and two assists brought her total regular-season goal contributions to 78, surpassing Megan Rapinoe (77).

Goalkeeper Claudia Dickey made 88 saves during the NWSL regular season, setting a new career best and leading the league.

Seattle Reign FC captain Lauren Barnes reached the 250 regular-season appearances milestone on October 10 vs. Bay FC, becoming the first NWSL to achieve this feat. She went on to make two more regular-season appearances, bringing her total regular-season appearance count to 252 before retiring at the end of the season.
