Claudia Dickey Named to U.S. Women’s National Team for October Friendlies Against Spain

Reign FC goalkeeper joins USWNT for two friendlies against defending FIFA Women’s World Cup champion Spain ahead of World Cup qualifying; Dickey enters camp with nine clean sheets in 11 caps for the USWNT

Seattle Reign FC goalkeeper Claudia Dickey has been named to the U.S. Women’s National Team roster for the October FIFA window, where the United States will face Spain in a pair of friendlies. The USWNT will host Spain on October 10 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., before the two sides meet again on October 13 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Dickey, 26, has earned 11 caps for the USWNT, recording nine clean sheets since making her senior team debut in June 2025. She most recently represented the United States during the June FIFA window in Brazil and has established herself as a consistent presence in the USWNT goalkeeping pool.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native has continued her strong form with Seattle throughout the 2026 season. A 2025 NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year finalist, Dickey has started 22 matches, recording 68 saves and seven clean sheets. Her seven clean sheets are tied for fourth-most in the league this season and match the single-season career high she set in 2025.
