Five Must-See Reign FC Matches at Lumen Field
Seattle Reign FC single match tickets are officially on sale as the 2026 season draws closer – and there are several matches at Lumen Field that fans simply can’t miss. From intense rivalries to beloved themes, here are five matches you have to see:
1. Seattle Home Opener vs. Utah Royals FC | April 26 at 5:00 p.m.
Need we say more? There’s nothing like returning to your home pitch after a long stretch away, backed by your most loyal fans. Seattle Reign FC is back at Lumen Field for the first time since October 17, and the team is hungry for success.
The Reign ended their home season against the Royals in 2025 and simultaneously honored club OG and captain Lauren Barnes as she prepared to close out her NWSL career. The 2-1 win left Reign fans buzzing, as Ainsley McCammon, the Reign’s 18-year-old standout midfielder, notched her first professional goal, alongside a strike from NWSL veteran Sofia Huerta.
Seattle has a positive head-to-head record against Utah, earning two wins, one loss and a draw since the opponent returned to NWSL play in 2024.
2. Seattle Reign FC vs. NJ/NY Gotham FC | May 15 at 7:00 p.m.
Friday night lights, baby! This match against Gotham FC is the first chance to see Reign FC play at Lumen Field on a Friday night this season. Exemplifying NWSL excellence, a matchup between these two sides could see up to seven players called up to the SheBelieves Cup roster in action at Lumen Field. Fans have a unique opportunity to secure tickets to this match PLUS the USWNT match vs. Japan at Lumen Field in April by securing a Crest & Crown Pack or becoming a Reign FC Season Ticket Member.
Every match between Gotham and the Reign is an interesting one. There’s never a lack of action, as both teams routinely hold themselves to a high standard. The last two meetings between the two sides have resulted in a draw, but the Reign hold 12 total wins in the series.
3. Rivalry Match vs. Portland Thorns FC | July 12 at 1:00 p.m.
The Seattle vs. Portland rivalry is different. Naturally forged from proximity and hatred, but fueled by respect, every match between these two teams is a passionate battle for region bragging rights. Both original NWSL teams, the PNW arm of the NWSL has never produced a boring match. From 0-0 draws to 5-0 wins, no one can take their eyes off the pitch when the two teams go head-to-head.
Last year’s rivalry match at Lumen Field saw Maddie Dahlien score her first-ever professional goal, lifting the Reign to three points in front of the home crowd. That match was just the start for Dahlien, who finished the 2025 season as an NWSL Rookie of the Year Finalist and tallied four goals and four assists. Now, the speedy attacker has blazed her way into the United States Women's National Team lineup, with two consecutive call-ups, three caps and one start under her belt.
4. Pride Match vs. Chicago Stars FC | August 14 at 7:00 p.m.
One of Seattle’s marquee matches, the Reign’s Pride Match is always a massive community affair. Taking place in August this year, the matchday will be packed with off-the-field celebrations for fans of all ages!
The Reign will be hosting Chicago Stars FC under the Seattle sun, which is also guaranteed to keep fans engaged. The last meeting between the two sides saw a total of six goals scored, with Jess Fishlock, Jordyn Huitema and Emeri Adames all claiming their spot on the scoresheet.
5. Decision Day vs. Orlando Pride | November 1 at 2:00 p.m.
Decision Day is can’t-miss watching every season, but in 2026, Reign FC is hosting the high stakes battle right here at Lumen Field. To no one’s surprise, the club once again hosts the Orlando Pride, marking the third consecutive season that Orlando and Seattle will clash in their final regular-season match.
The Reign also open the 2026 season on the road against Orlando, making this a long-awaited rematch. For avid Reign fans, this is the first chance to see Orlando at Lumen Field since April 12, 2025 – and you won’t want to miss it.
