1. LAST MEETING – The Reign and Dash last met in October 2024 in Seattle. The Reign defeated Houston 2-1, scoring first but allowing the visitors to level the score before retaking the lead.

In the first half of the match, midfielder Olivia Athens got the scoring started for the Reign in the 22nd minute, when a corner kick popped out to the 26-year-old, whose powerful shot flew into the back of the net. 2. SCOUTING HOUSTON DASH – The 12th-place Houston Dash mare fresh off a two-match homestand, earning one win and one loss. Most recently, the team battled a weather delay before falling 2-1 to Racing Louisville FC.

Houston took the lead early when forward Ryan Gareis crossed the ball to defender Avery Patterson in the ninth minute of the match. Patterson dribbled into the box and took a shot to the far post to beat the goalkeeper. Louisville found the equalizer in the 20th minute when midfielder Kayla Fischer had space to dribble toward the top of the box and fire a shot into the back of the net.
