Seattle Reign FC midfielder Jess Fishlock has been nominated for NWSL Goal of the Week for the second consecutive week! The veteran midfielder added her third goal of the season in Reign FC’s 4-2 loss against Portland Thorns FC on Sunday afternoon at Providence Park.

The sequence began with the Reign building possession out of the back before playing to the feet of defender Madison Curry on the right side of the field. Curry got spotted Fishlock on the far side of the box before playing a ball over Portland’s defense. Beginning her run outside the 18-yard box, the Welsh international bypassed the defense and dove to get her head on the end of the cross and into the back of the net.

She’s nominated for Goal of the Week alongside Houston’s Kiki Van Zanten, Chicago’s Shea Groom and Angel City’s Alanna Kennedy.
