Reign FC to Host Watch Parties at Rough & Tumble for Cascadia Rivalry Match
After a thrilling opening weekend, the Reign are prepared for their next match, this Friday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. PT, against Portland Thorns FC at Providence Park. Another road trip for the squad means another opportunity for fans in the community to watch the match together.
This time, the club will be opening tabs for Reign supporters to enjoy right here in Seattle! Fans are encouraged to gather at both Rough & Tumble locations, in Ballard and Columbia City, to cheer on the team.
At both pub locations, fans can provide the tab name “Reign” to enjoy beer, cider and/or non-alcoholic beverages starting one hour before kickoff.*
The Cascadia rivalry never fails to entertain. As the biggest matchup in the NWSL, both teams are locked in on adding another win to their tally in the head-to-head series. Last season, each side picked up a win apiece with Emeri Adames, Maddie Dahlien and Jess Fishlock all getting on the scoresheet.
Seattle and Portland both started the 2026 campaign with road wins: the Thorns winning in Washington, D.C. on Friday and the Reign against Orlando on Sunday. The Reign’s 2-1 scoreline boosted them just above Portland in the standings, but the teams are back-to-back in fifth and sixth place with three points and positive one goal differential.
