Today’s match marks Laura Harvey’s 16th unique starting lineup through the club’s first 19 matches of the season. Reign FC’s lineup features three changes from last Friday’s 1-0 win over Chicago: Ryanne Brown for Madison Curry, Nerilia Mondesir for Sally Menti and Holly Ward for Maddie Dahlien.
Seattle defeated Louisville 2-1 at ONE Spokane Stadium earlier this season on March 28, with Mondesir and Ward both in the starting XI. Four players who started that match are not featured in today’s lineup: Emeri Adames, Madison Curry, Emily Mason and Sam Meza.
Seattle has 15 of its 23 active rostered players with at least one goal contribution this season, including nine players featured in today’s starting XI.
The backline of Ryanne Brown, Jordyn Bugg, Sofia Huerta and Phoebe McClernon has combined for six goal contributions this season. The group has started together in four previous matches, with Seattle going unbeaten in all four (3W, 1D) while recording two shutouts.
Tonight’s captain, Sofia Huerta, leads all players in the all-time head-to-head series with 900 minutes played. Prior to tonight, Huerta featured in 10 of the 12 all-time meetings, playing the full 90 minutes in each appearance.
Phoebe McClernon is the only Reign FC player to start all 19 matches this season, while Maddie Mercado is the only other player on the team set to make her 19th appearance of the year (17 starts).
Nerilia Mondesir makes her eighth start of the season and first since Reign FC hosted Gotham FC on May 15. Since joining the Reign in 2024, the Haitian international has made 21 starts across 48 appearances, including tonight’s match.
Holly Ward makes her fourth start and 13th appearance of the season. Tonight marks her first start since Seattle visited the Washington Spirit on May 30.
