Every child has a story. Through Rise Like Reign, Mary Bridge Children’s patient ambassadors and Reign FC players come together to share stories of courage, recovery and hope, inspiring families throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Autumn is a strong, brave and energetic 7-year-old. She's also a patient at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's, where she has been bravely fighting nephroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer affecting the kidneys. Though she faced multiple hospitalizations, procedures and pokes, Autumn never lost sight of the things she loves: her family, her school and her favorite sport: soccer. Autumn plays with Washington Premier FC and is a huge Seattle Reign FC fan. During her cancer treatment, Autumn continued to attend school and play soccer. She recently had her port removed — a meaningful milestone in her cancer journey, signaling the end of chemotherapy.

Gracelyn is a vibrant 7-year-old Mary Bridge Children's NICU graduate whose journey began unexpectedly at just 30 weeks. Today, she loves school, dance and playing with her sisters, a testament to the expert care, family support and community that helped her thrive. Through the Rise Like Reign partnership with Seattle Reign FC, Gracelyn and her sisters joined Reign players in creating a custom scarf design that celebrates resilience, connection and the joy of being a kid. Together, Mary Bridge Children’s and the Reign FC are helping inspire children and families by showing that getting back to play, community and the moments that matter is what healing is all about.
