Reign FC to Host Rise Together Match, presented by CVS Health to unite fans through soccer and community impact
Since its inception in 2012, Reign FC has been defined by its commitment to building community.
The club’s ambition extends far beyond winning on the pitch. At its core, Reign FC is a steward of Seattle, guided by principles of advancing equity in play and life, protecting the Salish Sea and championing the power of girls, women and gender-diverse people.
For the second consecutive season, Reign FC is set to host the annual RISE Together Match, presented by CVS Health. This match serves as the physical manifestation of Reign FC’s deep-rooted commitment to our region – coming together to support local communities.
In addition to run-of-show elements to recognize organizations and individuals in the community, the match will offer fans the opportunity to join the club in giving back and making a tangible impact.
Uniting fans through soccer, the Reign and the club’s charitable arm, RAVE Foundation, have partnered with Mary’s Place and Looking Out Foundation for the second season in a row to bring to life one of the Reign’s RISE Purpose Platform Commitments at this marquee theme match: advancing equity in play and life.
On matchday, fans are invited to build Back-to-School kits for Mary’s Place to ensure that families experiencing homelessness have access to the supplies their children need to be prepared for the upcoming school year. Assisted by volunteers from Looking Out Foundation, CVS Health and Mary's Place, fans will add important items like reusable water bottles, crayons, pencils, notebooks and more into the kits, courtesy of CVS Health.
Last season, Reign fans built 1,000 kits for Mary’s Place. This year, the club will be aiming to double that figure.
Season Ticket Members have the exclusive opportunity to build kits in a Members-Only area, supported by NWSL legend Lynn Biyendolo, who will be making her return to Seattle ahead of the RISE Together Match.
Biyendolo, who is on maternity leave, will also be mic’d up throughout matchday and will lead Reign FC’s “Scarves Up” moment, joined by Seattle Storm star Ezi Magbegor and a representative from Mary’s Place.
Alongside a slate of matchday activations, Reign FC today announced a special ticket offer benefiting Mary’s Place. The RISE Together ticket is an invitation to be a part of something meaningful, as Reign FC and RAVE Foundation are set to build a brand-new mini pitch at the new Mary’s Place facility, scheduled to open in 2027. $5 from each ticket purchased goes directly back to supporting this mission.
Sticking with the theme of the match, Reign FC Kids Club members are encouraged to arrive early to pick up their exclusive RISE Scarf charm to add to their Kids Club bracelet from the Kids Zone in the North Plaza. Fans who are not yet part of Kids Club can sign up at the match, online or as part of the Kids 12 & Under Free program.
