Seattle Reign FC Invites Iconic Drag Collective TUSH to Headline Pride Match, Presented by Starbucks, on August 1
Reign FC is keeping the Pride party going with TUSH, channeling Seattle Pride’s 2025 theme of ‘Louder’ through unforgettable performances full of energy and entertainment
Seattle Reign FC is proud to announce that TUSH, one of Seattle’s most beloved drag collectives, will headline performances at the club’s annual Pride Match, presented by Starbucks, on Friday, August 1 at Lumen Field.
To kick off the second half of the season and in the spirit of keeping pride going strong, Seattle Reign FC is partnering with TUSH to transform matchday into a bold celebration of creativity, self-expression and community. Fans can expect unforgettable drag performances before kickoff and at halftime, blending glamour, vibrant fun and infectious energy in a way only Seattle’s queens (and kings) can.
“Pride for our club has always been about inviting everyone in our community to show up, rise up and stand up in celebration of each other as we are – and that’s exactly why we wanted to kick off the second half of our season together with Pride,” said Seattle Reign FC Chief Business Officer Maya Mendoza-Exstrom. “We’re thrilled to partner with TUSH and bring Seattle’s vibrant drag community into our stadium to keep the party for Pride going this summer, loud and joyful. This match is an invitation to our entire community: throw glitter, stand proud, be louder, celebrate boldly and Reign Together!”
Led by Betty Wetter, the matchday programming with TUSH will feature over five members of drag royalty, along with dance crew Purple Lemonade and DJ Dark Wiley spinning live. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-match performance taking place at the Muckleshoot Heritage Plaza, located on the north side of Lumen Field, and continues with a halftime drag celebration under the stadium lights.
“The TUSH cast celebrates and uplifts the LGBTQIA+ community year-round in a venue that can barely contain all the energy we bring to the stage,” said Wetter. “We are thrilled to join Seattle Reign for this special game where we will get to fill a stadium with joy and honor the communities that support both the team and our cast. We plan to bring you everything from the campiest queens to the fiercest divas in town and we hope you'll be dancing right along with us!”
To mark the occasion, the club is offering a special $40 Pride experience, featuring field-level seating, a limited-edition “Drag is a Sport, Darling” t-shirt and meet and greets with members of the TUSH cast.
