ACQUIRED: A product of the Reign Academy, signed to a short-term contract as a free agent with Seattle Reign FC on June 3, 2025. 

TRANSACTIONS: On December 8, 2025, signed a one-year contract with Reign FC through the 2026 NWSL season.

Signed with the club for the 2026 season after spending the second half of the 2025 season with the Reign as a short-term replacement player, following Cassie Miller’s season-ending injury designation in June...Prior to entering the NWSL, Purcell played one season for Brooklyn FC of the Gainbridge Super League in 2024/25.

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, LOS ANGELES (2022-23): Played in 27 games across two seasons with UCLA, recording 33 saves and conceding just 13 goals...As a sophomore in 2023, started all 19 games and posted a goals-against average of 0.65 with a 16-2-1 record...Recorded seven solo shutouts and four shared shutouts...Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team (2023).
